Hi!! Welcome to my first official blog post. Since this is so new, I've decided to share a little window into who I am and my life as of recently! I am currently still on summer break, since my university is on a quarter system and thus I start much later than semester schools! (This means I'll likely be super active this next month or so...)
But! Here's a bit about me! I'm 18, an Aquarius, and I'm majoring in English in university. I plan to become a teacher! I love reading and writing, writing poetry and journal entries is one of my favorite hobbies. I also love collecting toys; which ranges from anything to LPS, Strawberry Shortcake, Fugglers, Lalaloopsy, Calico Critters, Monchhichis, Barbies and soooo many more. I am super into cartoons and Disney Channel movies and shows, (High School Musical, Teen Beach Movie, Tangled, etc.) Basically anything animated and that's a musical! I am a hugeee nerd for those. My favorite colors are pink, blue, and green! I love Marvel and superheroes, my favorites are Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Dr. Strange, Superman, and Black Widow (honorable mention is Lego Batman). I love pop music but absolutely listen to everything, I'm always open for recommendations! My favorite artists are Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, Olivia Rodrigo, Beabadoobee, and Lorde. There is sooo much more to share but that's all I can conjure up right now.

As for my life as of recently, I have been keeping busy going back-to-school shopping and cooking/baking! I have gotten quite a few new clothing items, and my favorite thing in the world is going stationery shopping, thus I got a new pack of my favorite pens in the woooorldddd! They're the MUJI cap-type pens in 0.5 and they are truly the best pens ever. I bought them on my favorite stationery site (stationerypal) which I also recommend if you're looking for really cute and quality stationery. I am so lucky to say I got my first Macbook as well! It's pink and adorable, I've already customized my whole setup. I've also been up to making coffee and teas, I recently bought a chai concentrate from Trader Joe's and it is heavenly. It's been holding me up till the pumpkin cream chai comes back on Starbucks' fall menu. I also made banana bread yesterday, and I've gotta say I'm a pro now. It's yummy. Yesterday, I went to Barnes and Noble and bought a beautiful selection of books, a Smiths CD, and a Calico Critters family! I am so happy, I have perfect mini shelves where I'm going to craft them rooms. (I shall update on that if you'd like). As for the books I bought, I picked up 'The Lover' by Marguerite Duras (which I finished in one sitting and it was amazing!), 'Rebecca' by Daphne de Maurier, 'Moby Dick' by Herman Melville, and a Brontë Sisters collection! I am so excited to start reading them. As for things I've been interested in lately, I am obsessed with Olivia Rodrigo's new album and the aesthetics of the entire era. I love the pink and all the things connected with the album! I feel it's very me-core. I also have my current playlist on my Spotify here on my blog if you'd like to check it out!
